Legions has left a sour taste in my mouth, and I plan to give it a pass too.

When you spend countless hours painting miniatures for a certain game, you are investing in the idea that you can use these miniatures as much as possible in the future. When a company keeps supporting that game, or (even better) releases new games that let you re-use those miniatures, your investment of time (and love) is multiplied. It's a wonderful feeling. This is one of the reasons that GW was so good in its golden age: for example, you could use the same miniatures in Warhammer, Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, Heroquest, Advanced Heroquest, Talisman, etc.
But when a company does what FFG just did, they are telling you that they don't really care about our investment in their game. Individually based figures with fire team/ squad activation is a sensible choice- but if only they were scale compatible. Oh well, it's not as if I need more in my painting queue.Barkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04389368754759452544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4045275598713483939.post-51796299938575100942017-08-25T17:11:03.362+10:002017-08-25T17:11:03.362+10:00I doubt it- not to mention, FFG games usually come...I doubt it- not to mention, FFG games usually come with a bevy of cards and custom dice. Must be a typo and mean compatible', but this is rather disappointing. They aren't 28mm at all - more like 32mm by the looks of it. Which means that the WotC range - which I have piles of - won't fit with them, either. I wonder if you'll be able to get the rules without the figures?Natholeonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14359406949497306737noreply@blogger.com
