15mm Sci-Fi German Stormtroopers (Eureka)

Coming from unexplored space, the interplanetary blitz took everyone by complete surprise. Rapid deep strikes outmanoeuvred the lumbering federation militaries. Armed with their terror weapons, the heavily armoured WeltraumKommandoSoldaten instil fear wherever their dropships arrive. Little is known of their origins because none of these fearsome warriors have ever been taken alive. Some think they were never alive at all...
WeltraumKommandoSoldaten

These are Eureka Miniature's 'Sci-Fi German Stormtroopers', sculpted by Mike Broadbent. I'll put up pics of the rest of the range later this week.
[UPDATE: here they are!]

I painted these a while ago, and hadn't planned to put them on the blog yet, but then the inaugural Titanium Dropship competition was announced. I think this comp is a great idea to promote 15mm SF gaming. Check out the other entries here!

  5. Great paint work on great figures. The subdued weathering is well done too. As I mentioned on Dropship Horizon's post, I quite like the muted ochre colour you used. May I ask what it is?

  6. Nicely done Barks- I really like the weathered appearance of campaign weary troops, well executed (the paint job, not the troops!!).

  7. Great job! Your paint has really brought these guys to life. WWW2 is something always lurking on my project fringes. I think these might be a future purchase!

  8. They're nice sculpts too are they not? There's a funny sort of satisfaction to doing a good job on 15mm inf compared to 28's. Those guys look like you had fun painting them up. Looking good. I wonder if Mike will do some Panzers to go with them.

    1. They are lovely sculpts. I did have fun; also, I can paint a 15mm squad in the same time I can paint a 28mm figure...

I've got some long-bubbling plans for LuftPanzers, watch this space (but don't hold your breath...)
