Necromunda: Underhive hangers-on

I'm trying to concentrate on, if not one thing at a time, then less things at a time. I'm really glad to have these underhive characters painted- they're fantastically overdetailed sculpts and were not amenable to batch painting. I did use a few Speedpaints and worked on getting them finished rather than perfect. I'm trying for a somewhat limited, earthy palette.

Underhive Hangers-on

Rogue doc and servo skull

The classic plague mask with a bunch of scalpel fingers, poking implements, and doctor's bag. He's got a handy medi-skull as well.

The doctor will see you now.

Ammo jack

She's wielding a power hammer in one (augmetic) hand and a cigar in the other. Her backpack is festooned with grenades, magazines, ammo, and a boltgun.

Perfect for home defence.

Slopper

This cook carries a brazier and has roast mutant rat and a tentacle on his advertising pole. He's got a cleaver, knife sharpener, and pepper pot on his belt as well as an oven mitt. The ladle is lashed to a crowbar.

"More?!"

Dome Runner

I think this pose and vaguely rodent-like mask is as close as we'll ever get to the Ratskins coming back. The dome runner is an underhive guide, and I liked the idea of him having a blueprint spread out.

"I know a shortcut..."

Hive Watcher

This is a great figure, more machine than man. I gave him very grey, sallow skin.

40K Lamenters: Phobos Librarian

Whilst I was doing camo capes last week, I used the opportunity to polish off this character. He's a stealthy space wizard, using his abilities to mask his brothers' efforts. The force sword came out much better than I expected, and I like the chequered bookmark.

40K Lamenters: Eliminators

These Lamenters are snipers, hiding their canary yellow power armour with camo capes. I'm quite happy with the sergeant's magnoculars.

Skull-o-meter™:     10

I've painted those three and touched up my earlier standing Eliminator- I've changed the markings to reflect the 10th Company. I like how his pauldron is proudly on display.
