My friend Talula asked me to, and I quote, "flock my wood". I clearly understood that she needed to display her porcelain lamb. She already had a wooden plinth and glass dome. So I flocked her wood with due care and attention:
I get a deep feeling of satisfaction every time something I learned messing around with my hobby comes in useful to do something nice for my wife or some other "real world application".
(I expect this will happen even more once my little one starts to want things like doll house furniture. "Here, daddy made a Throne of Skulls for Miss Amelia's tea party!")
