I picked up another expansion for MoM recently- it came with four figures that were quick and fun to paint.
Charlie Kane is the avuncular, charismatic, and helpful politician. Modern popular culture teaches you not to trust politicians, but he is the exception and decidedly a Good Guy. He's is a very useful figure for all sorts of games.

Lily Chen is ready to crane-kick those eldritch horrors right between their squamous rugosities. She gets bonuses for being unarmed. Her traditional dress ended up being more orange than I had intended. Reds, yellows, and oranges are the hardest colours- I think I'm getting better at yellow.

The Wraiths can shift through walls. I rebased them on Renedra 40mm rounds.

I've had a few games of MoM recently, which have been fun. We actually won!
Charlie Kane is a sharp looking chap! Love the edge highlighting on his suit, really well done indeed.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Millsy- he’s a nice sculpt which made it easy.
DeleteBeautiful painting!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Matt!
DeleteLovely work.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lee!
DeleteYes, as Michael said above, the highlighting on Charlie's suit is very pleasing. I also love your wraiths!
ReplyDeleteThe wraiths are simple but effective colour schemes- thanks very much!
DeleteVery nice indeed -Charlie is the bomb!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Paul, he’ll be glad to hear that!
DeleteFantastic brush work buddy....
ReplyDeleteThanks, Stuart!
DeleteNice brushwork. We have recently played four of the adventures since May. we are about even in wins/losses. The Charlie character is quite interesting to play.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t used him yet, but look forward to doing so.
DeleteI’m having a hard time getting the wraiths to look good, any tips?
ReplyDeleteCan I ask where you are struggling? I did a pale grey skin with a black wash and highlighted it up. Green wash over white is a winner for a ghostly dress.
DeleteHmmmm maybe my green wash is too dark. It’s coming out almost neon lol it’s the new citadel shade, hexwraith flame. Maybe I should try something else.
ReplyDeleteI use Army Painter Green tone, and pick out highlights with a white/ green mix.
