Galadriel and her mirror

A 3D Sculpt from The Printing Goes Ever On. A quick paintjob- I tried adding an eye of Sauron, and it really sticks out. I may darken the edges of the bowl. I don't know if the 'water' needs some gloss varnish.

    1. I'd like to try my hand at the 'dark queen' Galadriel!

  2. That's a lovely "quick" job - puts many a "slow" painter to shame! I especially like the grass; very moderate.

What's the backdrop? I'd like something similar for my "studio" shots

    1. Perfect timing- look up Jon Hodgson's Backdrops Books on Kickstarter. It was quite the success, and he's starting a second crowdfunding run this coming week!

    2. If you don't have the cash for the Kickstarter print version, he has two downloadable sets on Wargames Vault. Print them at an office store or just display on your laptop screen behind the minis!

  3. It all looks great. And I agree, your quick job is much better than most my "ohh, I'll put some into this" works!!

  4. Fantastic piece! Galadriel has a strong, serious look here rather than "cute elf princess". If you'll accept some constructive criticism, maybe the Eye of Sauron would look better if it darkened to black/dark blue around the edges of the bowl 🤔🤔. But it's not badly done now 👏
