I realised I've now painted all the figures for the Descent expansion, Lair of the worm. The photos were taken at different times, hence the different backgrounds. I've done them pretty quick and loose with Speedpaints. They're good enough for a game.

Oh, I never got to play this expansion, but these are all nice, I really like the fire effect, it looks awesome!!

DeleteThere is something so satisfying in high quality speed painting. I wish I had your talent for it. I seem to have only two speeds: agonizingly slow or embarrassingly shitty.
ReplyDeleteI once painted those fire imps. It took me for bloody ever.
Contrast or speedpaints and a dropping of standards. The Fire Imps themselves were one coat of Speedpaint Dusk Red, then a white dot for the eyes.
