It has been a bit quiet here; I'm flitting between too many projects and getting distracted, and I don't like showing work-in-progress posts until I know I'm done with something.
Anyway, here are some Ork Kommandos I got distracted by. These were a lot of characterful fun to build and paint. They're festooned with backpacks, pouches, stikk bombz, and Swiss Army knives. I used SpeedPaint Forest Sprite for their skin. I tried to stick to a limited muted palette, and not get distracted by camo patterns. The metals are an orange-brown dry brushed with metal.
The Boss Nob has the option for a big choppa or a power klaw; I used a magnet to allow either choice. He's got darker skin; I recall that as orks get bigger and more aggressive they get darker.

I'm not entirely satisfied with the white for the rokkits, but it will do for now.

I like the Dakka Boy; reminiscent of a Royal Marine with a knitted cap and pullover. You can see the Swiss army knife many of them carry.
